Precautions for using DPF

DPF Usage Precautions

1. Oil requirements for DPF post-processor

Low sulphur diesel (sulphur content less than 10ppm) that meets national V emission regulations must be added to prevent post-processor poisoning and clogging

2, regeneration temperature requirements

When the processor after five engine DPF regeneration of T4, T5 temperature before (DOC) before (DPF) temperature has a threshold value, in order to ensure the DPF regeneration overweight to have good temperature performance, ensure the quality and effect of regeneration, while protecting the other parts of the vehicle is not affected by high temperature, need to exhaust the necessary packages.

3. The mandatory operation method is considered after the vehicle cannot be successfully regenerated

When the vehicle cannot complete autonomous regeneration due to limited conditions or reports DPF blockage failure (based on SOOTLOADING level 1), forced regeneration can be considered. Artificial forced regeneration is completed by diagnostic instrument. One is dynamic regeneration and the other is in-situ regeneration (through auxiliary equipment).

4. Treatment method of initial blockage after DPF

When the engine reports processor blockage after DPF (by SOOT LOADING the second stage) and processor blockage after DPF (by SOOT LOADING the second stage), no active regeneration can be carried out in any form. The DPF needs to be removed, cleaned or replaced with a new DPF post-processor. If the engine is short of power or cannot start normally due to the DPF post-processor blockage, remove the DPF for dust cleaning or replace it with a new DPF post-processor

Note: After replacing the new DPF post-processor, the ECU needs to be “RESET DPF” through the diagnostic instrument. When a DPF is damaged and replaced, the value of the DPF inside the ECU needs to be reset to make the ECU recognize that it is a new DPF.
