The Engine Control Unit (ECU) is the core of the automotive engine control system. It can provide the engine with the optimal air-fuel ratio mixture and ignition time according to different operating conditions, so that the engine is always in the best working state, thereby achieving the best performance (power, economy, emissions). The working principle of ECU is similar to that of a regular computer, consisting of a microprocessor (MCU), memory (ROM, RAM), input/output interfaces (I/O), analog-to-digital converters (A/D), and large-scale integrated circuits such as shaping and driving. It can be metaphorically referred to as the “brain of a car”. The voltage working range of ECU is generally 6.5-16V (with a voltage stabilizing device at key internal points), with a working current of 0.015-0.1A and a working temperature of -40 ℃ -80 ℃.
